Who is The Meadows?
I overheard that question from a spectator Friday night in Boulder City.
Well let’s shed some light on the question, eh?
Go here. Among other things, you’ll learn:
The Meadows is Nevada’s only pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade college preparatory school which is non-religious and nonprofit. It is also the only school in the state which places 100 percent of its graduates in four-year accredited colleges and universities.
The school is located in Summerlin, which is a gigantic, master-planned community on the northwest end of Las Vegas. And most everyone in Las Vegas wishes they lived there.
It just seems like a calmer, cleaner, and just plain nicer atmosphere, and The Meadows campus continues that theme.
You just have to afford the tuition, which is running a little under $20,000 dollars for high school this year.
